taka sytuacja, pendrive 16GB, sformatowany FAT32. aktualizuje co rok z garmin w pierwszych latach za darmo od ubiegłego roku wykupuję mapy. w ubiegłym roku kupiłem i wgrałem i było ok. w tym roku kupiłem wgrałem na pendrive i taka sytuacja...

posiedziałem nad tym, i wiem o co chodzi.. Garmin wypuścił aktualizację na 2024 której plik z mapami waży ok. 9GB - to jest zbyt duży rozmiar pliku żeby connect w civicIX mógł go zainstalować. Nasze urządzenie jest w stanie obsłużyć pliki chyba max do 6GB.
ja rozwiązałem problem w następujący sposób. zapłacone i pobrane mapy odchudziłem, tzn z pliku instalacyjnego wyrzuciłem południową cześć europy bo zależało mi głównie na PL i zachodzie. Taki odchudzony plik już dał się zainstalować na urządzeniu. Tak to wygląda, kombinowałem bo kupiłem już te mapy i nie chciałem stracić kasy, ale w przyszłym roku już chyba sobie daruje te mapy i tą naszą navi

Dziękuję za info. Ja nie potrzebuję Turcji i Ukrainy, ale potrzebna mi zachodnia części Europy. Musze coś pomyśleć, chyba napiszę skargę do Gramina.
Też mam mapę kupioną i podobny komunikat.

warto by było dać im /garmin/ jakieś sygnały żeby albo wypuszczali mapy które mniej zajmują miejsca albo przynajmniej jakąś informację mogliby umieszczać że mapy nie nadają się do systemów honda..

Ja dałem, ale się tym nie przejęli i mnie olali z góry na dół. Chyba już im nie zależy na tym segmencie rynku. Tutaj moja korespondencja z Garminem:

On all cases there is the same error.

Thank you for trying a different USB drive, as this does not work, in this case I would advise to contact your local Honda dealer regarding this in order to see if they are able to assist any further with this at all

They cannot, as the software “Garmin Navigator” has not been developed by Honda. Maybe you can direct me to the correct company, who develop this software?

I insist to pass the issue to engineering team to resolve, otherwise I will ask to cancel the order and return the money.
